Preliminary Plans Presented for 450 Units to Replace Herndon Office
Boston Properties & Artemis Real Estate Partners have presented preliminary plans for the redevelopment of the office properties at 13100 & 13150 Worldgate Drive to the Herndon Architectural Review Board. After studying several options, the team decided on a concept that bisects the site in multifamily and single-family quadrants. The proposed multifamily building which would include 349 units will use half of the garage structure, wrap around it to create internal courtyards and build an urban edge towards Elden and World Gate Drive. The single-family quadrant is proposed as a series of urban blocks with townhouses and stacked flats a grid of landscaped streets and pedestrian mews, and includes 101 units total.
