Prospect Heights Mixed-Use Project Granted Approval
A 17-story, mixed-use development, proposed for 870-888 Atlantic Avenue in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn has just been issued the green light by the NYC Mayor's Office. The stamp of approval comes roughly a year after Y&T Development LLC, first submitted an application to the NYC Department of Planning, which requested zoning map and text amendments as well as a special permit for the project.
The new building will contain residential units and square feet of commercial retail space. Plans also call for an enclosed parking garage with enough room for vehicles.
Designed by Archimaera Architecture, 870-888 Atlantic will stand feet tall and total square feet. Eight seperate lots are set to be combined and rezoned for the new development and multiple low-rise buildings will therefore be demolished.
