Redevelopment of Mildred Haley Apts Under Review: Would Include 690 Units
The first phase of the redevelopment of the Mildred Haley Apartments in Jamaica Plain is now under review. The redevelopment will consist of a total of approximately 690 apartments which will include the 1-to-1 replacement of the existing 253 public housing units and the construction of approximately 435 new affordable and upper-middle-income apartments. The Project includes the construction of seven buildings anticipated over approximately five sub-phases starting in 2022, with all construction anticipated to be complete in approximately eight to ten years.
