River North (Liberty Towers) Update 09/21/21

Staten Island Tower Development Progresses Through Public Review

A proposal for a massive mixed-use development in the St.George neighborhood of Staten Island is currently under review by the City Council. At the start of September, the project was voted on and approved by the City Planning Commission. Back in February, developer, Richmond SI Owner LLC, submitted a land-use application requesting zoning map and text amendments to facilitate a 4-building complex called River North (Liberty Towers). The development if approved would consist of two neighboring sites and contain a combined 750 residential units. It would also include 25,900 sqft. of retail, 225 affordable housing units, and parking space for 331 vehicles.
