Trinity Financial Set to Begin Medfield State Hospital Campus Revitalization
Working with the town of Medfield, MA, Trinity Financial is set to begin revitalizing the Medfield State Hospital campus, securing funding through the ‘Housing Works Infrastructure Program’ and the ‘Underutilized Properties Program 2023’ awards. Administered by the Community One Stop for Growth Program, a substantial grant of nearly $5 million has been allocated for redevelopment, envisioning the transformation of the historic campus into 334 mixed-income housing units, with 25% committed to affordability. The funding will be used towards infrastructure improvements and hazardous materials investigation. The project aligns with the State Housing Initiative, ensuring 100% eligibility, and stands out for its focus on affordability, with 85 units catering to those below 80% of the Area Median Income.
