Worcester Reviewing 2 Proposals for Denholm Building Redevelopment
The Worcester Redevelopment Authority is reviewing 2 proposals for the redevelopment of the Denholm Building in downtown. The plans from the Menkiti Group, a DC-based firm, and Stamford-based RMS Companies both call for the demolition of the existing building and the construction of mixed-use projects. The Menkiti plan would include 2 buildings, 10 & 11 stories, with 233 residential units, ground floor commercial space, and a public promenade.
The RMS plan includes 200 luxury apartments and 6,600 square feet of co-working, amenity, or retail space. The project would also include indoor and outdoor amenities for residents, such as a fitness center, lounge, game room, and roof deck.
