Work Continues on Garage Renovation for West End Alexandria
Demolition of the former Landmark Mall in Alexandria's West End is complete with the parking garage remaining in place. Canyon Contracting is renovating the 342,000-square-foot precast parking garage. The project consists of a new cast-in-place ramp addition in the center of the garage with associated foundations and walls, the addition of a new elevator within an existing stair tower, the removal of an existing sloped precast ramp at the 3rd tier, and the installation of a new cast in place slab and perimeter barrier walls to create more parking spaces.
