Work to Begin on Downtown Office to Lab Conversion
A series of permits valued at over $60M have been pulled to begin work on the conversion of the 10-story office building at 55 Sumer Street to lab space. Permits include demolition and renovation of the electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. The development team will also renovate the public plaza at the base of the building. Phase 3 Real Estate Partners acquired the building in March of 2022 for $106M.
