Zoning Progress Proceeds for Jamaica Senior Living Development
BG Sutphin LLC's proposal to rezone 97-04 Sutphin Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens has now proceeded to the next step in the public review process. The submitted application, requesting zoning map and text amendments, would facilitate a 15-story senior affordable housing building. Developed by , and designed by , it would contain approximately units and total square-feet. The development would also include around 15,000 sqft for a medical clinic and community facility space. The City Planning Commission (CPC) has now voted on the application, which means that it will soon be passed to the City Council. The City Council will have 50 days to hold a hearing, review the project, and conduct their own vote.
