Zoning Update for 660-668 East Fordham Road
Applicant, Sean Daneshvar, of , is seeking a special permit, and a Community Chair Certification for an 11-story, mixed-use building at 660-668 East Fordham Road. Currently, the City Council is reviewing this application and a vote is expected within the next week or so. To be located in the Belmont neighborhood of the Bronx, the proposed development was designed by J Frankl Architects. If approved, the square foot structure would contain roughly 20% affordable housing and residential units. The special permit would waive required parking for affordable housing, and the Community Chair Certification would facilitate a FRESH food store (likely in place of the required parking area).
