A former Boston University (BU) parking lot at 610 Commonwealth Avenue, located at the heart of BU's campus, has been developed into a new state-of-the-art research facility, the Center for Integrated Life Sciences & Engineering (CILSE). The new building houses BU's life science and engineering research activity. Specifically, the building is dedicated to systems neuroscience, cognitive neuroimaging and biological design. The CILSE features shared, flexible lab spaces as well as meeting rooms and other common areas in tune with 21st century collaborative workspace design.
