29 Affordable Units Planned for Cambridge Site
Homeowner's Rehab Inc has proposed an affordable multifamily development at 1627 Mass. Ave (4 Mellen St) after acquiring the property from Lesley University in August 2022. Plans call for the renovation of the existing 3-story mansion on the site and construction of an addition to create 29 units in total. The apartments will be a mix of 1 through 3 bedrooms all affordable up to 60% AMI. The project also includes a 700-square-foot amenity space/community room.
