City of Boston to Acquire 290 North Beacon
The BPDA Board has approved a plan that will allow the agency to formally acquire 290 North Beacon from IQHQ, for a negligible price is a community benefit to the 155 North Beacon Street project. The site will be developed as permanently affordable arts and culture space to mitigate against the widespread displacement of artists from the neighborhood.
