Faneuil Gardens Redevelopment Plans Now Under Review
Since summer 2022, The Community Builders has been leading the creation of a new master plan for the redevelopment of Faneuil Gardens and now plans are officially under review. The approximately 7.5-acre site is currently home to 258 family-sized apartments spread across ten three-story brick walk-up buildings. The development plan calls for the phased demolition of the ten existing buildings and the construction of five new residential buildings with ground-floor commercial and community spaces featuring approximately 441 residences. The project also includes a new approximately 7,600 sf community center, ground floor resident amenity spaces, live/work units, and potential small-scale commercial storefronts, all of which will front onto the central pedestrian boulevard.
