Western MA Shopping Plaza Trades for $30M
Grove Real Estate has sold The Longmeadow Shops to Regency Centers for $30,400,000. The upscale, open-air, lifestyle center is located in an affluent suburb of Springfield, Massachusetts. This outdoor shopping and lifestyle center is a favorite amongst residents in the Pioneer Valley and Northern Connecticut. “The Shops” sit on a 9-acre parcel originally developed and designed in 1962 by Prestley Blake, founder of the Friendly Ice Cream Corporation. Many of the original colonial design features remain today, including the copula at the center of the complex.
