East Boston Condo Project Officially Breaks Ground Gansett Ventures and City Realty have officially celebrated the groundbreaking for Mira, the mixed-use project coming to Border Street in East Boston. The building will feature 64 modern condos along with retail space on the first floor that will include an East Boston Museum Gallery and a cafe concept. Mira will have a mix of one through three-bedroom units along with an array of amenities, including a large roof deck, 70+ bike storage spaces, resident lounge, work from home space, and state-of-the-art fitness center. Construction is expected to last through summer 2021.

$21.6M Permit Pulled to Start Construction at Mira  A permit valued at $21.6M has been pulled to kick off construction of Mira in East Boston. The project along Border Street will feature 64 luxury condos with a common roof deck. The 6-story building will also include a parking garage with 42 spaces and a small commercial space on the ground floor.

Demo Permit Apps Filed for Allston Square Project A series of demo permit applications have been filed for various addresses in Allston to make way for the approved Allston Square project. Allston Square is set to include over 350,000 square feet of space across 6 buildings. The mixed-use project will offer 348 units of housing, including 237 condominium units and 104 rental apartments along with more than 10,000 square feet of additional street-level open space, 9,000 square feet of public art space, and 15,765 square feet of new retail space. The project won BPDA approval this past November.

The permit valued at $1.6M was pulled by Attorney Jeffrey Drago. The project will also include parking for 14 cars and is located just steps from Constitution Beach.

49 Unit Rental Project Proposed for 375 Cummins Highway in Hyde Park City Realty Boston has proposed a 49 unit rental building at 375 Cummins Highway in Hyde Park. The building would include a mix of studios through three bedrooms along with parking for 61 cars. Amenities on-site are set to include a fitness center and a meeting room.

Framing Complete for Tempo Condos in JP Framing is complete and windows are going in for the Tempo Condos along Washington Street in Egleston Square. The new building will feature 39 luxury condos along with 2,560 square feet of ground-floor retail space. 20 parking spaces will also be included on-site.  Construction is expected to be completed by March 2020.

Demo Permit Application Filed for 50-56 Leo Birmingham Parkway The Boston Landmarks Commission has received an application to demolish the commercial structure at 50-56 Leo Birmingham Parkway in Brighton. The demolition would make way for a 6-story residential project to feature 49 condos and 52 parking spaces.

Allston Square Project Approved The six-building, mixed-use Allston Square project has been approved by the Boston Planning Board.  The design plan will incorporate the preservation of two classic buildings: Allston Hall at 4 Braintree St. and the Allen Building, the former headquarters of Jack Young Auto Parts at 334 Cambridge St along with four new construction buildings. In total, the project will include 348 residential units, over 15,000 square feet of retail space and parking for 158 vehicles.
