The upcoming 3-story building will also include 41 parking spaces, bike store and bike fix-it station. The development is located just a few blocks from Watertown Square.

31 Unit Multifamily Project Approved in Quincy After cutting the number of units in the design down from over 50 to 31, the developers of 85-105 Myrtle Street in Quincy have won approval from the Quincy Planning Board. The 3-story building located less than 5 minutes from the North Quincy MBTA station and will include a below-grade garage with space for 57 vehicles.

Foundation Work Ongoing for 24 Gould St. in Reading Construction is progressing for the mixed-use project at 20-24 Gould Street in Reading. The upcoming 4-story building will feature 55 residential units along with around 3,500 square feet of retail spaces. Permit App Submitted for 101 North Beacon in Watertown Earlier this month, The Maggiore Companies filed a building permit application for the approved multi-family development at 101 North Beacon Street in Watertown. The building would feature 28 condos along with 41 parking spaces. The permit value is estimated at $5,425,000.

Demo Permit Apps Filed for Allston Square Project A series of demo permit applications have been filed for various addresses in Allston to make way for the approved Allston Square project. Allston Square is set to include over 350,000 square feet of space across 6 buildings. The mixed-use project will offer 348 units of housing, including 237 condominium units and 104 rental apartments along with more than 10,000 square feet of additional street-level open space, 9,000 square feet of public art space, and 15,765 square feet of new retail space. The project won BPDA approval this past November.

The project calls for conversion and addition to the existing church to create a mixed-use building. The new building will feature two commercial spaces plus 10 residential units.

Somerville Development Site Mortgaged for $21 Million The development site at 845 McGrath Highway in Somverille, MA has been mortaged by KEMS for $21 million via MountainOne Bank. The proposed project will consist of two buildings located at the intersection of Middlesex Avenue and McGrath Highway at the edge of Somerville’s Assembly Row development containing residential, hotel and retail use. A 13-story building would contain a 180-room hotel, and a 21-story building would contain 215 apartment residences.

Demo Permit App Filed for 249 Corey Road in Brighton The Boston Landmarks Commission has received an application to demolish the structure at 249 Corey Road in Brighton. A 35 unit residential project is now under review for the site. Plans call for a 4-story building to also include parking for 34 cars plus a common roof deck for residents.

Allston Square Project Approved The six-building, mixed-use Allston Square project has been approved by the Boston Planning Board.  The design plan will incorporate the preservation of two classic buildings: Allston Hall at 4 Braintree St. and the Allen Building, the former headquarters of Jack Young Auto Parts at 334 Cambridge St along with four new construction buildings. In total, the project will include 348 residential units, over 15,000 square feet of retail space and parking for 158 vehicles.

BPDA Approves The Logan at Fairmount The proposed nearly 50,000 square foot building at 95-105 Fairmount Ave. in Hyde Park has been approved by the BPDA. The project will include 47 rental units along with 2 ground floor retail spaces and parking for 33 cars.
