Founded in 1979, Lettire Construction Corp. has established itself as a leader in the mixed-income, affordable, supportive, and institutional housing sectors and as a partner of the New York City and State housing agencies. Lettire is proud to be a partner of the City of New York’s plan to build 200,000 homes by 2026. Lettire’s portfolio of work spans the private sector, building hospitality, retail, market-rate, and luxury residential developments.
Lettire has built over 50 projects containing more than 4,000 apartments, with total hard costs in excess of $1.7B. Lettire recently bound its second Contractor Controlled insurance Program, totaling more than $1B, and maintains a $700M bonding capacity. Lettire’s pipeline consists of 10 projects containing 3,000 apartments with a total hard cost in excess of $1B.
Lettire created its development affiliate, Urban Builders Collaborative, in 2010 to focus on mixed-income and affordable markets throughout the metropolitan New York area, including projects in Westchester County and in Essex County, N.J. The development pipeline consists of 2,000 apartments throughout Opportunity Zones in the Northeast.
