Related Beal's 1M+ SF Fort Point Project Now Under Review
Related Beal has filed a PNF for the 6.48-acre site at 244-28A Street in Fort Point. Plans call for over 1 million square feet of space across three buildings all including ground floor accessory and mixed-use space. Buildings would include...- A 17 story Residential Tower (G4) would include approximately 366,100 square feet of space offering 370 units- A 13 story Office building (G5) which would include 332,192 square feet- An 8 story Lab/R&D building (G6) to include approximately 400,000 square feet
A 400 space parking garage would be located below the residential and office building. The project would also include the creation of a berm along the Fort Point Channel that will be part of a larger resilience structure that is anticipated to prevent flooding related issues. The Berm will be expanded into a waterfront park to provide increased access to open space.

Related Beal Files LOI for BFIT South End Campus Redevelopment
Related Beal has filed a Letter of Intent for the redevelopment of the Benjamin Franklin Institute's South End Campus. BFIT is planning a move to Roxbury but will continue to operate from the South End site until the move. Proposed plans for the redevelopment call for a 210,000 square foot senior care facility, the adaptive re-use of the Franklin Union building for commercial use of approximately 80,000 square feet, and an affordable residential building of approximately 20,000 square feet with a 4,500 square foot community space occupying the ground floor.
