Facade Install Ongoing for A.O. Flats in JP
Facade install is ongoing for A.O. Flats as part of the Parcel U Development just outside Forest Hills Station in Jamaica Plain. This part of the development will include 78 mixed-income apartments along with 1,620 square feet of ground-floor retail. The project will also feature 1,040 square feet of community space, a 42-space underground parking garage, and a fitness center.

With Hotel Open, Construction Ongoing for the Residential Portion of The Melnea Hotel and Residences
Exterior work is wrapping up for the residential section of the Melnea Hotel and Residences at the corner of Melnea Cass Boulevard and Washington Street in Roxbury. The first part of the project, The Residence Inn, featuring 135 rooms opened earlier this year. The residential side of the development will include 50 apartments. 8,000 square feet of commercial space is located across the ground floors of the buildings.

The concrete core is in place for The Henry, the luxury condo project coming to Symphony Road in the Fenway. The building's double bow-front, brick design captures the rhythm of the neighborhood. The project will feature 20 luxury homes, 19 of which will offer 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Construction is set to be complete in Fall 2019.

CO Issued for Residence Inn at Melnea Hotel & Residences Project
A Certificate of Occupancy has been issued for the new 135 room Residences Inn by Marriott along Melnea Cass Boulevard in Roxbury. The hotel is part of the 1.3 acre, Melnea Hotel & Residences project. Still under construction is the 50 unit apartment building that will complete the project. The development also features parking for 65 cars and ground floor retail including a restaurant space in the hotel.

Exterior finishing is nearing completion for the Residence Inn by Marriott that will be part of the Melnea Hotel and Residences development. The project at the corner of Melnea Cass Blvd and Washington Street in Roxbury will include the 108 room Marriott Hotel along with another six-story 50 unit residential building. There will also be around 8,000sf of commercial space within the development.

Notice of Project Change for Parcel U in Jamaica Plain
Located on an approximately 126,070 square foot former MBTA site in Jamaica Plain and bound by Hyde Park Avenue, Ukraine Way, Tollgate Cemetery, and the MBTA Commuter Rail tracks, Parcel U will create 54 homeownership units, over the course of two phases.
Originally approved in 2014, the approval of this NPC will increase the number of units in Phase B of the project from 24 to 30. The project will also create two new pocket parks for the public.

90 Antwerp Street to Create 20 New Units and Open Space in Brighton
The 90 Antwerp project consists of 20 homeownership units, including 12 income-restricted units. The project will create over 10,000 square feet of publicly accessible open space to benefit the neighborhood. This mixed-income residential project in Brighton was proposed in response to the 2017 Request for Proposals (RFP) for the parcel, donated by Harvard University, with the goal of creating affordable homeownership opportunities and publicly accessible open space. The project will include 20 on-site parking spaces for residents, two visitor parking spaces, bicycle parking, community amenity space, and other support spaces.Sixty percent of all units will be income restricted units affordable to families earning 80 percent or 100 percent of Area Median Income (AMI). The unit types will be a varied mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units.
