The new building features 78 mixed-income apartment residences, 1,620 square feet of ground-floor retail, 1,040 square feet of community space and a 42-space underground parking garage. Resident amenities offered at A.O. Flats include a fitness center, a common lounge and bicycle storage. Next door work is also underway on Phase B of the project that will create another 30 residential units, including 6 one-beds, 12 two-beds, and 12 three-bedroom.

With Hotel Open, Construction Ongoing for the Residential Portion of The Melnea Hotel and Residences
Exterior work is wrapping up for the residential section of the Melnea Hotel and Residences at the corner of Melnea Cass Boulevard and Washington Street in Roxbury. The first part of the project, The Residence Inn, featuring 135 rooms opened earlier this year. The residential side of the development will include 50 apartments. 8,000 square feet of commercial space is located across the ground floors of the buildings.
