$223 Million in Tax Credits Under Review for Superman Redevelopment in Providence

Rhode Island Commerce Corporation is currently reviewing a financial tax credit package valued at $223,000,000 for the redevelopment of 111 Westminster Street in Downcity Providence. The credit package consists of Rebuild Rhode Island funding, city subsidies, and state tax deferments. 

Currently in planning, has proposed a residential redevelopment of Providence's Superman Building featuring over 200 residential units and nearly 30,000 SF of ground-floor public events space. The building - tallest in Rhode Island - has sat vacant since 2013.
