450-Unit Development in Planning for Providence Superman Building
A Wellesley-based developer has stated they are planning a redevelopment of Providence's tallest skyscraper. Plans call for the conversion of 357,605 SF of vacant office space at 111 Westminster Street into 450 residential units. Vacated in 2013 by Bank of America, its last tenant, the locally-named "Superman Building" was constructed in 1928 and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
