Williamsburg Residential Building Trades for $97.5M
An 8-story, residential building, located at 8 Marcy Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, has just traded hands for $97.5 million. The structure was jointly purchased by Z+G Property Group and The Carlyle Group from the developer and previous owner, Prospect Development, in a deal brokered by JLL.
Recently completed at the beginning of this year, 8 Marcy Avenue contains 123 rental apartments. This includes 37 units, which are dedicated to affordable housing. Designed by Kutnicki Bernstein Architects, the building stands 85 feet tall and totals 107,902 square feet.
Tenant amenities include a fitness center, a roof deck with cabanas, a resident lounge, a recreation room, a workspace, a package room, and a bicycle storage area. The building also features an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for 54 vehicles.
