Zoning Permits Sought for Senior Housing in Cypress Hills
Developer, and the are seeking zoning permits for 3285 Fulton Street in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. The filed application requests the rezoning of the lot from an R5/C2-3 to an R7A/C2-4/EC-6 district. This would facilitate the construction of a new mix-use development, containing approximately square feet of senior housing. This would be divided up into AIRS (Affordable Independent Residences for Seniors) units. The building will have an additional 2,750 square feet for a new daycare facility on the ground floor. A Land Use Application and an Environmental Assessment Statement have already been filed. The Community Board is expected to review the proposal sometime in the near future.
