Zoning Progress for Cypress Hills Mixed-Use Project
A mixed-use building, proposed for 3285 Fulton Street in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn is slowly navigating the public review process. Developer, and the are currently seeking zoning permits for the project. Their filed application with the NYC Department of Planning requests a rezoning of the lot from an R5/C2-3 to an R7A/C2-4/EC-6 district. The application has now been reviewed by Brooklyn Community Board 5 and is currently being reviewed by the Borough President.
The 7-story structure would contain approximately square feet of senior housing. This would be divided up into AIRS (Affordable Independent Residences for Seniors) units. There will be an additional 2,750 square feet set aside for a new daycare facility on the ground floor.
