Constitution Wharf Acquired for $71.73 Million The property at One Constitution Wharf in Charlestown, MA has been Acquired by Jamestown for $71.73 million. The 8-acre waterfront Class A office property features 180,000 square feet of newly renovated creative office space overlooking Boston Harbor and the Boston Skyline. Constitution Wharf has undergone a full repositioning which includes a new double-height lobby & entryway, in addition to employee common spaces such as a lounge, a cafe, and a fitness area.


Avenu at Natick

Interior Finish Work Underway for Avenu at Natick Interior finishing is ongoing for Avenu at Natick, the upcoming 62+ active adult community just west of Boston. The project is set to open in early October. Avenu at Natick will 164 units along with movie screening room, fitness center, salon and spa, and resort-style pool. The one and two-bedroom homes are currently ranging in price from $3125 to just under $5000 per month.


Residence Inn Natick

Facade Install Wrapping Up for Residence Inn Natick Facade install is nearing the 5th floor of the upcoming Residence Inn by Marriott in Natick. The project will include 136 suites all fully equipped with a living area, workspace, and kitchen. The building also includes 6 meeting rooms along with a fitness center and outdoor patio space. The hotel is set to open in November.


960 Massachusetts Avenue & 100 Newmarket Street

Addition and Renovations Ongoing at 960 Mass. Ave. Work is ongoing at 960 Mass. Ave for National Development's transformation of the industrial property to office and light industrial space. The project will include a new 30,000 square foot addition along with updated HVAC & electrical service. Standard Electric Supply remains open on-site during the construction. The new space is set to be complete late this year.    


Emery Flats

Emery Flats In Woburn Now Leasing: Expected First Occupancy in July Leasing has kicked off for the 200 unit Emery Flats in Woburn with construction nearly complete on the first building in the development. Residences range in size from studios renting for $1950 to 3 bedrooms at $3600 per month with first units expected to be available around July 15th. The second building in the project should be complete sometime in September. Resident amenities at Emery Flats will include an outdoor pool, fitness center, rooftop lounge, and co-working area.   


960 Massachusetts Avenue & 100 Newmarket Street

Work Begins on Repositioning of 960 Mass. Ave. Construction has started for the renovation of the former industrial property at 960 Mass. Ave. Plans call for a new building facade and interior renovations along with updates to HVAC & electrical systems, that will reposition the asset as creative office and light industrial space. The building is located in Boston's Newmarket neighborhood just a few blocks from the South Bay Center. Construction is expected to be complete later this year.


62 C Street

National Development Acquires South Boston Property for $12.685 Million National Development has acquired the property at 62 C Street in South Boston for $12.685 Million. The property features a three-story industrial building that was constructed in 1935. Located at the center of the South Boston gateway, the 78,704 square foot building sits on a .86-acre parcel.


Avenu at Natick

Exterior Work Nearly Complete for Avenu at Natick Exterior work is nearly complete with interior finishing ongoing for the upcoming Active Adult community, Avenu at Natick. The 164 unit project, just across the street from The Natick Mall will feature a mix of one and two bedroom homes, 10% of which are designated affordable. Amenities at Avenu Natick will include a 16,000-square-foot, landscaped courtyard, a pool deck with cabanas, lounge and recreation area along with a theater, spa, and fitness center. Units are available for preleasing now with expected opening later this year.


7INK by Ollie

NPC Approved for 7INK By Ollie A notice of project change to adjust the unit mix within the upcoming co-living 7INK by Ollie has been approved by the BPDA. The change keeps the total number of units the same at 250 however by changing smaller studio units to 3 and 4 bedrooms the total bed count is not increased from 327 to 353. There is no change to building size. 


Residence Inn Natick

Exterior Work Ongoing for Residence Inn Natick Exterior work and window install are ongoing for the new Residence Inn by Marriott in Natick. The hotel will feature 135 king suites with a separate living area, a workspace, and fully-equipped kitchens. The hotel will also include a 3,000 SF event space capable of holding 350 people. Amenities will include a fitness room, a 24/7 market, guest laundry, outdoor patio space, and a 24-hour business center.Construction is expected to be complete this fall.


7INK by Ollie

Notice of Project Change for 7INK by Ollie in the South End The proposed project change calls to modify the Project’s unit mix in response to assessment of market information both from the Boston market and obtained from operating co- living communities in other locations. Increased market demand from the targeted demographic of 25-40 year olds has been experienced for the multi-bedroom units due to the lower price point associated with these unit types.   The proposed unit mix modification is as follows: Unit Type Previously approved unit mix New unit mix Studio 197 84 1-bedroom (premium units) 0 6 2-bedroom 35 28 3-bedroom 12 32 4-bedroom 6 20 Total Units 250 180 Total Bedrooms 327 353 The overall increase in the approved total number of bedrooms from 327 to 353 is 8%. The overall building area, building height and the building envelope/footprint, as approved by the BPDA Board on July 12, 2018, will remain the same. The change to the bedroom count is achieved solely by redesign of the floor plans of the previously approved units.


Emery Flats

Construction Ongoing for 200 Unit Project in Woburn Interior and exterior work are ongoing for the two building project, Emery Flats just north of Boston in Woburn. The development will feature 200 apartments, a mix of studio, one, two, and three bedrooms. Building amenities will include a fitness center, rooftop lounge, game space, co-working area, a clubroom with a full kitchen and an outdoor swimming pool. First units are expected to welcome residents in early summer.
