Washington Street Property Acquired for $4.25 Million Brookline Development Corporation has acquired the property at 101-105 Washington Street in Brighton, MA for $4.25 million. The approved residential building and religious facilities will be built on the site of an existing Brighton synagogue and ritual bath. Both existing buildings will be razed, and three new buildings will be constructed including a new residential building containing 70 rental units as well as a new synagogue and ritual bath. The residential building will rise seven stories and will contain 1 and 2-bedroom units; nine units will be designated affordable. Resident amenities will include a roof deck and rooftop lounge.

Minor modifications approved to 101-105 Washington Street mixed-use development in Brighton Minor modifications to the approved 101-105 Washington Street mixed-use development were given the green light at last Thursday (March 16th)’s Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) Board Meeting. In order to accommodate a revised means of egress as required by building codes, the residential building will now contain 70 apartment residences and 70 parking spaces, reduced from 73 apartment residences and 73 parking spaces as previously approved.

101-105 Washington Street in Brighton receives final approval The 101-105 Washington Street mixed-use development in Brighton has received final zoning approval and will now move forward with construction. The City of Boston’s Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) approved the project at Tuesday (February 7th)’s meeting. 101-105 Washington Street will be located near Brighton Center and the B Branch of the MBTA Green Line. The project will feature a new residential building containing 73 apartments as well as a new synagogue and ritual bath. Construction of 101-105 Washington Street is anticipated to commence this quarter.

Located in Brighton near Brighton Center, the $13.575 million project will construct three new buildings including a new residential building containing 73 apartments, a new synagogue and a new ritual bath. Construction of 101-105 Washington Street is anticipated to commence in the first quarter of 2017.

101-105 Washington Street receives unanimous BCDC design approval The Boston Civic Design Commission (BCDC) has unanimously approved the proposed 101-105 Washington Street project’s design, reports RODE Architects. The project will now undergo review by the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA). 101-105 Washington Street’s design has been modified slightly since the project team’s Project Notification Form (PNF) filing in August 2016. New details and renderings for proposed Brighton synagogue redevelopmentBrookline Development Corporation filed a Project Notification Form (PNF) with the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) yesterday (August 25th, 2016) presenting new details and renderings of the proposed redevelopment of the 0.82-acre Kadimah-Toras Moshe synagogue site located at 101-105 Washington Street in Brighton steps to the Washington Street MBTA Green Line station. Two existing buildings would be razed, and three new buildings including a residential building, a synagogue and a ritual bath would be constructed; the architect of the new buildings is RODE Architects.The residential building would contain a total of 73 rental units with amenities including a roof deck and rooftop lounge. 73 new residential units and new religious facilities proposed at site of Brighton synagogue105 Washington LLC, a limited liability company affiliated with Brookline Development Corporation, has filed a letter of intent to construct three new buildings on the site of the existing Congregation Kadimah-Toras Moshe synagogue located at 101-105 Washington Street in Brighton. The new buildings would include a new residential building containing 73 rental units and two new buildings containing religious facilities. Two existing buildings on site would be demolished.
