Mount Vernon Submits an LOI for 147 Unit Compact Living Project in Allston
Mount Vernon Company has submitted a letter of intent for the parcel at 37-43 Braintree Street in Allston. Per the letter, the developer is planning a 99,196 7-story residential building on the site to include 147 compact living units. The project would also include on-site amenities and garage parking. Mount Vernon acquired the site this past December for $7.55 million.

A series of electrical and fire alarm install permits have been pulled for the two-building project at 37 North Beacon Street in Allston. In total, the permits are valued at $2.25M. A five-story building containing 74 apartment residences would be located at the intersection of North Beacon and Everett Streets, and a four-story building containing nine condominium residences would be located next door on Sinclair Road.

National Development has filed a letter of intent for the construction of a replacement television station for WBZ-TV at 1170-1200 Soldiers Field Road in Allston. The new building would consist of approximately 62,000 square feet of commercial/office space, production space and parking. Site improvements as part of the project include 117 secure parking spaces and 16 visitor spaces. Once construction is complete on the new building the existing WBZ-TV building will be decommissioned.
