Dual-Concept Asian Restaurant, Soi 8 / Sushi Ike, Opens at MarketStreet Lynnfield
Summer dining at MarketStreet Lynnfield is bursting with new flavor – the celebrated neighborhood shopping destination is excited to welcome the opening of the casual dual-concept Asian restaurant, Soi 8 / Sushi Ike. Taking diners on a culinary journey from Japan to Southeast Asia, the new restaurant combines the best of a traditional Japanese sushi restaurant and a lively Thai/Southeast Asian street food experience.
On one side of the dual-concept is Soi 8, where guests can enjoy a variety of popular street foods and entrees from Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Indonesia. This heartfelt endeavor blending the vibrant tastes of Bangkok and beyond boasts a menu absolutely full of flavor featuring standout shareable dishes like Crispy Veggie Rollswith glass noodles, carrots and cabbage andGreen Papaya Salad, a Thai style papaya salad with carrots, cabbage, and peanuts, as well as a selection of noodle dishes like Pad Kee Mow (drunken noodles)with thick rice noodles, basil, eggs, onions, tomatoes, sweet peppers, broccoli and choice of chicken, beef, shrimp or tofu. On the other side is Sushi Ike, where guests will be treated to a front row dining experience curated by the restaurant’s sushi master with over 15 years on his resume at some of New York City’s top culinary destinations including Nobu. Here, he and the team at Sushi Ike create thoughtfully prepared Omakase dining experiences and full sushi take-out menus featuring everything from special rolls such as the Heaven and Earth Roll with spicy salmon, avocado jalepeno, and crunch topped with Hokkado scallop, sweet soy, mayo, chili oil, yuzu mustard, furikake, spicy tobiko, garlic and cilantro, to classic appetizers like Tuna Tatakiwith seared pepper tuna, scallion, masago and ponzu sauce and newer creations such as the Dinosaur Egg with shrimp tempura wrapped in avocado, sweet soy and spicy mayo.
