Midtown Office Tower Approved
An application relating to special permits for 415 Madison Avenue in Midtown has finally been approved by the NYC Department of Planning. 415 Madison Avenue LLC sought permits in order to facilitate the redevelopment of an existing office building occupying the site. Exact plans are still up in the air, but the proposal calls for the building to be torn down in order to pave way for a 40-story, 287,180 square-foot tower. This would make it the latest new development conceived as part of the Greater East Midtown rezoning plan.
