New Plans Revealed for Mixed-Use Tower Planned in Brickell

Revised plans have been filed for a mixed-use tower in the Brickell section of Miami. The new plans for Calle 8 show that the tower will rise to 65 stories, up from the 57 stories in the initial plans. Additionally, the plans call for 458 residential units, down from the original 464. The residential units will include studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom residential units along with one penthouse. Two plans have been submitted for the retail component, one would include a multi-level concert hall, the other calls for a multi-story retail complex with a department store or other retail vendor. The revised plans increase the parking spaces to 660, up from 467 in the original plans. The parking spaces will be on 11 levels, with co-working space on the 12th level and amenities on the 33rd, 35th, 36th, and 37th levels. The pool deck would be on the 35th level.
