New Rooftop Bar Coming to Downtown St. Petersburg
Downtown St. Petersburg will get a new rooftop bar in early 2023 on top of the AC Hotel under construction at 110 2nd Street North. The hotel is part of Ascent St. Petersburg, a 36-story apartment and hotel tower. Cane & Barrel, the hotel’s rooftop terrace bar inspired by Cuban heritage, will be located on the 8th floor of the hotel. Ascent St. Petersburg is the tallest rental high rise in Tampa. When completed, it will hold 354 apartment units, a 172-key AC by Marriot hotel, and 6,800 square feet of retail space. Ground was broken in December 2020, and it topped out in April 2022. Completion is expected for May of 2023.
