Renovations Underway at Devonshire in Downtown
CambridgeSeven was selected to revive and rejuvenate The Devonshire with a more modern look and feel. This 1983 luxury rental apartment building, owned by the Ruben Companies, is a timeless modern residential building in the heart of downtown Boston, a beloved city icon. The building offers striking views of Boston, the Charles River, and surrounding towns beyond the city.
CambridgeSeven has completely transformed the 480 residential units with select and targeted design insertions, new paint, new lighting, and new open kitchen layouts. The before and after renovation is a striking demonstration of how a series of precise moves can completely change the product.
In addition, a new Resident Lounge and Fitness Club on the top floors of the building are currently under construction. Here the design team has carefully infused hospitality trends into desirable resident amenities. A new entertainment area, private study, and work rooms, as well as event space, will open to residents in Spring 2020.
