Work to Start on 210-Unit Back Bay Hotel Conversion
A change of occupancy permit has been issued to 140 Clarendon Street in Back Bay, kicking off the conversion project. Plans call for a conversion of the 155,000 SF hotel into 210 affordable residential units. The project was approved in March for development. The Lyric Stage of Boston theatre and the Snowden International School on-site will remain unchanged.
