RODE Architects Inc. is a collaborative design team led by its two Principals and owners, Eric J. Robinson and Kevin S. Deabler. Located in Boston, Massachusetts and founded in 2005, RODE’s approach to design follows an iterative process that molds its client’s ideas, experiences and goals into spaces that exceed expectations. The combined, diverse experience of the Principals allows RODE to provide a far-reaching range of design services, from master planning and feasibility surveys to project management and innovative architectural solutions. Principals Eric and Kevin are each LEED Accredited Professionals and registered architects with a working relationship that spans nearly 20 years, back to their undergraduate studies in design and architecture. Permits valued at over $1.17M have been pulled for both electrical and fire alarm install at 69 A. Street in South Boston. The building is undergoing a renovation of expansion that will create 33,700 square feet of office space and 12,000 square feet of retail space, including space for a new gym. An on-site parking garage will also be built with the capacity for 18 cars.

200+ Unit Affordable Building Approved in JP
The Community Builders in partnership with the Pine Street Inn have received approval from the BPDA to move forward with the project at 3368 Washington Street in Jamaica Plain. The approved project will include 202 income-restricted apartment homes, 140 of which would be housing units with support services for men and women moving out of homelessness. Plans also include 18,000 square feet of PSI office space on the ground floor and community space and amenities for residents. In addition, the project also offers approximately 60 vehicle parking spaces, 85 bicycle storage spaces, and 13,400 square feet of outdoor space.
