Work Underway on Cast-In-Place Podium at The Mark in East Boston   Work is now underway for the cast-in-place podium for the upcoming 107 unit luxury condo project, The Mark at DeNormandie Wharf. The 6-story building will also feature 6,500 square feet of shared workspace plus parking for 80 cars. Residents will have access to a private fitness center with several immersive entertainment lounges. 


Northland Newton Development

Newton City Council Approves Northland's Mixed-Use Project Last night the Newton City Council approved the 14 building mixed-use project Northland has planned for the 22+ acre site on Needham and Oak Streets. The project will include a total of 800 housing units (140 of which will be affordable), 180,000 square feet of office space and 115,000 square feet of commercial space. Plans also call for 10 acres of open space including 8 new parks plus a mobility hub that will offer free electric shuttle service to the Newton Highlands MBTA Station.

Construction Ongoing at 100 Shawmut Construction is ongoing for the upcoming condo building 100 Shawmut Ave. in the South End. Work continues on the historic brick facade that is being preserved as part of the project. Building Permit Issued for One Congress The building permit has been issued for the upcoming 43 story office tower at One Congress. The building will feature over 1M square feet of Class A office space along with 10,800 square feet of retail plus parking for 1159 cars. Building amenities will include a grand three-story lobby, conference facilities, a third-party operated fitness center, and a 1-acre landscaped terrace. The permit is valued at over $346M.

Cranes in Place at The Mark at DeNormandie Wharf Cranes are in place and framing is set to begin for The Mark at DeNormandie Wharf in East Boston. The waterfront mixed-use development will feature 107 condominium residences with over 6,500 square feet of ground-floor publicly-accessible waterfront work share space. Resident amenities at The Mark are set to include a 5,045 square foot private elevated courtyard with grilling areas, fitness and wellness spaces, lounge areas and small, programmable function spaces. Tower Crane in Place for 100 Shawmut The tower crane is in place for 100 Shawmut as work continues on the luxury condo building at the intersection of the South End and Chinatown. A new gridded glass and metal facade will rise out of the pre-existing brick warehouse structure that has been preserved on the site. When complete in 2020, 100 Shawmut will be home to 138 luxury residences and amenities including a pair of outdoor decks, a ground-floor cafe, and bicycle storage.


88 Wareham Street

Interior Finishing Ongoing for 88 Wareham Luxury finishes are being installed for the 27 condo residences coming soon at 88 Wareham Street in the South End. The one and two-bedroom homes will feature Baltic Wood Elite oak flooring, Caesarstone countertops featuring a waterfall edge, white gloss cabinetry with two-tone grey edge banding and white glass tile backsplashes.
