Framing Rising for Passive House, Affordable Development in Ward 7
Framing is rising for the upcoming multifamily project at 3450 Eads St. in Ward 7. This landmark project is the first Net Zero Ready, Passive House Institute US, Inc. affordable housing development project in Washington, DC. The four-story multifamily project will include 49 energy-efficient units, with 20 percent designated for family-sized housing. The project consists of geothermal wells, a solar array on the green roof for on-site power generation, highly efficient building systems, and building envelope enhancements.
