The award-winning firm of Robert M. Swedroe Architects & Planners has specialized in multi-residential architecture since its inception in 1974. By consistently designing highly efficient, cost-effective buildings with practical innovations, the firm has gained international recognition as the leader in its specialty. Many of the firms' buildings yield 90 to 95 percent efficiency, resulting in some client relationships that span more than 30 years. The firm revolutionized multi-residential design in 1990 by introducing the first private entry elevator concept. The unique concept offered privacy simulating that of a single family home. To date, the firm has over 120 built and occupied buildings, primarily high-rise towers of which the majority incorporate this concept.
