Plumbing Permit Pulled for 300+ Unit Somerville Project With foundation work ongoing at the site, a plumbing permit has been pulled for Alta Xmbly at 290 Revolution Road. The upcoming 8-story building will offer 329 apartments, 20% affordable. The building will also include 10,408 square feet of retail space with a parking garage for 188 resident vehicles.

  Wood Partners is still being considered for a very large development in the town of Wayland to be developed on town owned land. The 200+ unit project is slated to have 25% affordable housing as a component of the 3 building complex containing over 300,000 square feet of development.

Framingham's Alta Union House Nearing Completion With residents expected to move in this summer, interior and exterior work is finishing up for Alta Union House in downtown Framingham. The project will include 192 apartments, a mix of one, two, and three bedrooms just a few blocks from the commuter rail station. Resident amenities will include a pool area with bbq, 24/7 fitness center, and a pet wash station.

Zinc is a pet-friendly luxury apartment community featuring 392 units contained in a 411,106 square foot building. The 15 story structure was built in 2014 and has many upscale amenities.

Wood Partners Break Ground on Alta Union HouseGeorgia-based, Wood Partners has broke ground on Alta Union House in Framingham, MA. The upcoming project will bring a new high-end apartment complex to downtown Framingham. Approximately 196 high-end apartments and a new parking garage will be constructed on the corner of Concord, Howard, and Kendall streets.The development has a scheduled opening of fall 2019 and will become the first major transit-oriented development to spring up in the vicinity of Framingham’s downtown commuter rail station.

Wood Partners sells The Washingtons, recently completed Melrose luxury apartments, to Monogram for $75 million Wood Partners, a national developer who has invested significantly in Melrose in recent years, has sold The Washingtons, a 182-unit luxury apartment community located steps from the Oak Grove MBTA Orange Line station, to Monogram Residential Trust for $75 million in cash. The sale amounts to $412,088 per apartment. The Washingtons features one-, two- and three-bedroom residences with amenities including a communal roof deck with sweeping views and a club room featuring a genius bar. The Washingtons is comprised of three buildings, located at 2, 37 and 47 Washington Street. 2 Washington Street features a ground-floor retail space occupied by a physical therapy facility. Wood Partners has built or renovated a total of seven luxury residential buildings next to Oak Grove Station. The developer sold Alta Stone Place, a four-building, 212-unit luxury apartment community completed in 2015 located at 1000 Stone Place next to The Washingtons, to Mesirow Financial free and clear of existing debt for $80 million in April 2016.
